How do you know what is considered “too much” information in
an essay or blog. I feel like we have to share some things to get our point
across but if we share too much it starts to sound more like an autobiography
then an essay or blog post. I wrote a rough draft I believe essay for my
composition class and I thought I shared a great deal, maybe a little too much,
to get my point across. I shared about the events that led up to me being place
in foster care and my Dad dying. The feedback I got was that people wanted to
know more. I am unsure how much I should share. I do not want my life story to
get in the way of proving the point of why I believe what I believe. I read a few of my other classmate’s blogs and
some had personal stories while other were mainly just facts. I really wish I
knew whether or not I was doing my essay correct and had some feedback from
this class. I could be writing completely wrong and would have no idea because nothing
is graded! I have thought about posting a questions on the “Burning question”
form about grades and feedback but I just looked and someone else has already
posted about the same thing. It feels good knowing I am not the only one with
this frustration and confusion. At least I have a blog I can complain to
instead of making my husband listen to my school problems! Mid-term is soon and according to the syllabus
everything should be graded up to midterm. I just need to get through the next
week or so and not just give up! Almost halfway through the class J Woo hooo
My love!

Middle Ages
What happens when you have no clue what to blog about? You
take a dumb online quiz and blog about that! I decided to take a test about
what era I should have lived in... These are my results…
The Middle Ages
1101A.D. to 1460A.D. Get ready to party - you're best suited for the
romantified times of the Crusades and Knighthood. You tend to remain firmly
convinced and unmoved about all your beliefs, showing your own unique style and
originality as you do it. Others admire your individual attitude, even if it's
from afar, making you ideal for the high class end of the table at the royal
court. Cheers!
I believe this was the biggest waste of 30 seconds of my
life but hey at least I know I could survive in the middle ages. Well maybe not survive, but I was "born" to live in the middle ages. I will say
that the results were correct when it talked about my unique style and originality. I do not think that I would have fit in well
with the crusades. I do not believe the Crusades were good but that is a whole
other discussion. My husband took the
quiz and got the same results. At least I know that we would be together!
I just goggled images of what clothes in the middle ages
looked like this and I have decided that it Is a good thing that I was born now
instead of then! The clothes of the middle ages are HIDEOUS! Well, minus some
of the head pieces I saw. I will admit they wore some cute hats!

YAY!
This morning after taking my math test we finally went car
shopping!!! I swear this morning Brent was like a little kid again. He kept
poking at me and pushing me to get up and get ready so he can go look at cars!
I thought it was kind of cute. :)
He has had his eye on one for the past
couple of days so we decided to go look at it. We ended up getting it and I
must say it is PERFECT! As you can see it is all black and the windows are
tinted. My husband really enjoys the fact that it has a turbo and a
"sports suspension"...whatever that means :) . The inside is black
leather with cloth inserts. I sat in the driver seat and for a moment thought I
ripped the leather because the button on the back of my jeans rubbed up against
the seat. I panicked for a moment but then I was OK...nothing would be worse than
ruining the new car before even getting it off the lot! What I enjoy most....other
than the sunroof....is all the safety features. It has 10 airbags along with
reinforced steal in case we roll over. I also learned that inside the hood was
a type of blanket, if the engine were to catch on fire this “blanket” would detach
and smother the fire caused by the engine.
I thought this was a really cool feature. After getting all the paperwork
signed we took it for a drive. We ended up in Branson and decided to eat
dinner. The only places we saw open was Applebee’s or a place called Rowdy
Beavers. Since we eat at Applebee’s a lot we decided to try the other place.
Bad choice! I was sick to my stomach as soon as we got home. Luckily though I
did not get sick in the new car.
